Most holy Virgin Immaculate, my mother Mary,
\nto you who are the mother of my Lord,
\nthe Queen of the universe, the Advocate,
\nthe hope, the refuge of sinners,
\nI who am the most miserable of all sinners,
\nhave recourse to you this day.<\/p>\n
I venerate you, great Queen,
\nand I thank you for the many graces you have
\nbestowed upon me even unto this day,
\nin particular for having delivered me from the Hell
\nwhich I have so often deserved by my sins.<\/p>\n
I love you, most dear Lady;
\nand for the love I bear you,
\nI promise to serve you willingly for ever
\nand to do what I can to make you loved by others also.<\/p>\n
I place in you all my hopes for salvation;
\naccept me as your servant and shelter me
\nunder your mantle, you are my Mother of Mercy.<\/p>\n
And since you are so powerful with God,
\ndeliver me from all temptations,
\nor at least obtain for me the strength
\nto overcome them until death.<\/p>\n
From you I implore a true love for Jesus Christ.
\nThrough you I hope to die a holy death.
\nMy dear mother, by the love you bear to almighty God,
\nI pray you to assist me always,
\nbut most of all at the last moment of my life.<\/p>\n
Forsake me not then,
\nuntil you shall see me safe in Heaven,
\nthere to bless you and sing of your mercies
\nthrough all eternity. Such is my hope.<\/p>\n
