My mother is now in a better condition (Nestor Vigilia)
Greetings of peace!
Dear readers, brothers and sisters in Christ; I would like to share the blessings and my first encounter with Saint Pio of Pietrelicina Capuchin and his miraculous healing power that he instantly answered my prayer though personally I don’t even know who Padre Pio is.
On April 30, 2008 my sister called me up, at about 10:00 in the morning she was crying and told me that our mother, 81 years of age was on a state of coma. We planned to bring her home to Bulan, Sorsogon (Bicol) our home town while still alive because we will find it difficult to travel her in case she dies.
I was to drive Mrs. Templo that moment, she asked me to place inside the car a statue. As I placed it down I read the name “Saint Pio of Pietrelcina Capuchin” written on the base of that statue, I silently but fervently prayed for the recovery of my Mother. I knew my mother is old but I prayed is she sill die not that very moment yet. At around 3:00 pm I received another call from my sister, this time she told me to avoid worrying, our mama was brought to the hospital and underwent thorough examination and other laboratory tests, but she was not given any medicine, she miraculously got well and became strong at the moment. According to her doctor, her vital organs are all in normal condition and she will be a healthy donor if she wishes to.
After few days, Mrs. Templo and I met again and I told her my story, she invited me to give thanks to Saint Pio inside the chapel. That’s the first time I completely understand who Padre Pio is and his healing power.
My mother is now in better condition. Padre Pio has plans why she is given another chance to live, so we can be able to give more love and care while there is still more time for her, as the way all mothers want from their siblings.
Thanks to Saint Pio, and to Mrs. Templo as well, perhaps she is the instrument so that I will know him better and increase my faith. Lastly, my sincere and above all, gratitude to our Almighty God the Father Jesus Christ who truly make things possible beyond the impossibilities.
