A Testimony from JapanBy Mari Dhannapala25 June 2011On September 3, 2010, I received a novena from my friend because I was scheduled to undergo a caesarian section operation due to my baby’s breach position. I prayed for 3 days.
On the 4th day for my check-up before the scheduled CS operation on September 8. The ultrasound result showed that my baby was perfectly normal. The Japanese doctor said there was no need to undergo a CS operation.
The delivery would be normal and that it was “a true miracle” according to the doctor.

“Many were deeply moved with Mari Dhannapala’s sharing of her devotion to St. Pio and her answered prayer. She said that on September 8, 2010, she was scheduled for an operation due to her baby’s breach. And on September 3, my aunt, who was at Atsugi Church just met Mari, noticed how Mari was so short of breath, had difficulty in breathing and found out that Mari’s baby was in a breach position. My aunt handed out to her a novena of St.Pio of Pietrelcina. For three days, Mari devoted herself to the novena and on the fourth day of her check-up before operation, the ultrasound of the baby was perfectly normal. The Japanese doctor said that there was no need for a caesarian operation, the delivery would be normal and that it was, as he said, ‘a true miracle.’”
